Wild Edibles Plant Walk

Led by Russ Cohen, Naturalist and Wild Food Enthusiast

Everyone Welcomed!

Space is limited, so registration is required!

General Orientation by Russ Cohen

Opening Words & Song/Hand drum by Dawn Duncan

The walk will include identification and the sharing of knowledge of dozens of wild edible plants that are in our midst (identification tips, eligible portions, season of availability, and preparation methods) all with general guidelines for safe and environmentally-responsible foraging. This walk is geared towards adult learning, but youths, with an interest in foraging, are welcome to join us but must be accompanied by an adult. At the end of the walk, you will have the opportunity to sample treats, made with wild edible ingredients, to sip and nibble on.
